Find out how one set of twins can have two different dads. It's rare for twins to have different fathers, but it has happened in Vietnam. A set of twins in Vietnam has been given the rare distinction of being bi-fraternal, that is, they've got different dads. Although the twins developed side-by-side in their mother's womb, DNA tests recently showed they came from two eggs fertilized by two different men.
This is an extremely rare example of when eggs are fertilized during separate acts of sexual intercourse within the same ovulation period. In recent years, it has been reported at least twice in the U.S.
